StringDrop

Terms of Service

Version 2026-07-01 · Effective 1 July 2026

1. About StringDrop

StringDrop is an online marketplace that connects racket sports players with independent local stringers. StringDrop Ltd acts as the platform operator and payment intermediary; it does not perform stringing services itself.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to create an account. By registering you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

3. Player obligations

Players are responsible for accurately describing their equipment and stringing requirements, attending agreed handover arrangements and paying in full at the time of booking authorisation.

4. Stringer obligations

Stringers must complete all bookings they accept, maintain the equipment and skills described in their profile, and comply with StringDrop's quality and conduct standards.

5. Payments

Payments are collected by StringDrop Ltd via Stripe and held until the stringing job is completed. StringDrop deducts its platform commission before transferring the remainder to the stringer.

6. Cancellations and refunds

Full details of the cancellation and refund policy are set out in the Booking Policy document linked from the Help Centre. StringDrop reserves the right to mediate disputes between players and stringers.

7. Limitation of liability

StringDrop is not liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from bookings or the use of the platform beyond the total fees paid in the relevant transaction.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email and require re-acceptance before your next session if the terms change materially.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
