No subscription
There is no monthly fee. StringDrop takes 8% commission per completed job. Players pay a separate £1.49 booking fee — this is shown to them transparently and does not come out of your earnings.
Open when you want to be
Toggle open for new rackets with one tap and close just as quickly. Your existing accepted bookings are never affected — close at any time without penalty.
You control your menu
Set your own services, string choices, prices and turnaround times. Offer Bring Your Own String as a labour-only option, choose strings from the catalogue, or both.
Local customers
StringDrop shows your profile to players in your area. You set your own handover methods — home or club drop, a public meeting point or secure unattended drop. Exact address details are only shared with accepted booking participants.
Get paid after completion
Payment is authorised when a player requests a booking and captured when you accept. Earnings are released to your Stripe account once the job is confirmed complete — a transparent record at every stage.
Build a local reputation
Every completed job builds your verified rating. Reviews can only be left by players with a completed booking, so your score reflects real work.
How to join
Create your account
Sign in with Google or email. One account works for booking as a player and offering stringing.
Complete your public profile
Add your bio, the sports you support, your machine details, experience and the area you cover. Your exact address stays private.
Set your services and availability
Add your string menu and BYOS option with prices and typical turnaround. Set your weekly availability and maximum concurrent rackets.
Stripe payout setup
Connect your bank account through Stripe. StringDrop never holds your card or account details directly.
Submit for review
We review applications to make sure every stringer on the platform meets the standard players expect. We aim to respond within two working days.
Open for Rackets
Once approved, toggle Open for Rackets on your dashboard and start receiving booking requests from local players.

StringDrop is currently operating in a pilot area. Applications outside the current coverage zone are welcome — we will contact you when the service expands to your area.
Transparent earnings
Here is how a typical booking works financially:

The £1.49 player booking fee is added on top of your price and is not deducted from your earnings. Stripe processing fees apply to payouts; see your Stripe dashboard for exact figures.
